For anyone in the High Point, NC area, you should try to attend the TWLOHA book fair. The event will start with a reading from Ned Vizzini's "It's Kind of a Funny Story". After that we will have a discussion about mental health, relationships, depression and anxiety, eating disorders and body image and will close with a live acoustic session with Ryan Dillon.
If you aren't familiar with TWLOHA, the organizations basic mission is to promote an understanding of depression, anxiety, self-harm, and create a support group for any suffering individuals. I am proud to be a part of our University Chapter.
